Chula-Media-Fellowships

The Chulalongkorn University Communication Center (CCC) invites both Thai and international journalists from foreign or English-language media organizations to apply for the Chula Media Fellowship Program 2026.

This six-month fellowship offers journalists an opportunity to study, exchange ideas, and gain in-depth insights into Thailand through academic courses, interactive activities with Chula students, and engagement with scholars and experts across diverse disciplines. The program focuses on two main learning dimensions:

  1. Society and Culture – Exploring the essence of “Thainess” through society, culture, and everyday life experiences, including close interactions with Chula students.
  2. Innovation and Academia – Accessing Chula’s cutting-edge research, innovations, and academic resources that contribute to sustainable development.

The program aims to promote lifelong learning and sustainable development in line with Chulalongkorn University’s strategic goals, while encouraging media fellows to share their experiences and perspectives about Thailand through their respective media, fostering mutual understanding between Thailand and the global community.

Application period: Now – November 30, 2025

Number of fellows: 4 (Thai and/or international journalists from foreign or English-language media organizations)

Program duration: 6 months (January – June 2026)

Courses available: English- and Thai-taught General Education (GenEd) courses offered during the program period, as well as other courses from faculties or units open to media fellows.
