Exploring the Future of Healthcare through AI: Chula Students Joined a Program in Malaysia

Chulalongkorn University students took part in the “International Enrichment through Student Mobility: Universiti Malaya (Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology) 2025” program, held under the theme “Reimagining Healthcare Through AI: From Prediction to Personalization.” The program took place from October 27–31, 2025, at Universiti Malaya (UM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, focusing on transforming healthcare services through artificial intelligence (AI).

This student exchange program served as a key platform for Chulalongkorn students to engage with cutting-edge developments in artificial intelligence and its applications in modern healthcare services. Organized by UM’s Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, the initiative aims to promote international collaboration, academic exchange, and hands-on training in fields that are vital in today’s world.

Participants gained in-depth knowledge of how AI is revolutionizing medical practices — from predicting disease outbreaks to designing personalized treatment plans for individual patients. The exchange is expected to enhance students’ academic understanding and practical skills in computer science and information technology.

The program also aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3: Good Health and Well-being, supporting the university’s mission to provide international academic experiences and to empower students as global citizens who contribute to sustainable development.

Chula is the place to discover one’s true individuality and the years I spent here were most enjoyable.
