The Sasin School of Management, Chulalongkorn University, is preparing to launch Sasin AI Turbo, a special short program designed and taught by leading professors from world-class institutions together with Sasin faculty members. The program aims to elevate AI knowledge and skills for next-generation leaders, equipping them to drive their organizations toward success. This intensive nine-week program includes both in-class and out-of-class learning.
In an era where AI has become an important “decision-maker” within organizations, the Sasin AI Turbo program is designed to help executives and organizational leaders understand this critical transformation and apply AI to create business advantages. The course blends global perspectives with regional expertise from top faculty, featuring hands-on learning that delves into the capabilities and development of Agentic AI—particularly in Southeast Asia. Participants will explore case studies and practice skills such as prompt design and building AI prototypes to effectively apply AI in their businesses.
The program’s instructors include Dr. Karl Schmedders, a finance professor at IMD (International Institute for Management Development), an expert in climate-change economics, finance, and data-analytics applications. He is also a Visiting Professor at the Kellogg School of Management. He will be teaching alongside Dr. Pinnaree Tea-makorn, a Sasin faculty member, AI strategist, and expert in computational psychology, artificial intelligence, and data science. In addition to learning from leading experts, participants will visit organizations to exchange insights on how AI is used in business settings. Another highlight is the Sasin Turbo Talk, a special session where industry experts share their experiences directly with learners.
“This program will guide learners to explore the real capabilities of AI in Southeast Asia. They will develop the skills to identify opportunities where AI can grow—not only in theory but also in real business applications within the region,” Dr. Pinnaree emphasized.
Sasin AI Turbo integrates both face-to-face and online learning. It includes a Turbo Week, during which learners must attend intensive in-person sessions at Sasin. This full-week immersion features workshops, case-study analysis, and close interaction with faculty. Before Turbo Week, participants will complete self-paced online lessons along with three live Zoom sessions (two hours each) to prepare and get acquainted with classmates.
The Post-Turbo phase concludes with project work and group reflection, supported by two live Zoom sessions (two hours each). This structure makes the program ideal for executives and professionals seeking the most valuable learning experience within a short time frame.
“AI is essential for staying at the forefront in a rapidly changing global economy. This program will show you how AI works in business-relevant contexts, helping you identify both opportunities and risks for your organization,” Dr. Karl said.
The program runs from February 23 – April 26, 2026. For enrollment, visit https://tinyurl.com/3nurfdvh Or email sasin.next@sasin.edu or call 094-671-5797.
