“MedUMORE,” a digital medical platform developed by Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital of the Thai Red Cross Society, has once again earned global recognition with The Winner – Aspire-to-Excellence 2025 Award in Inspirational and Innovative Approaches to Health Professions Education from AMEE, one of the world’s leading organizations in health professions education. In addition, MedUMORE has been shortlisted for the Digital Education Awards 2025 in the category Digital Education Institution of the Year.
This achievement marks the second global award for MedUMORE. Previously, it won the THE Awards Asia 2025, reaffirming its role as a true leader in digital medical education innovation in Thailand.
MDCU MedUMORE serves as a pioneering platform that transforms medical teaching and learning through a Personalised Learning approach that tailors learning pathways for each user, alongside an Automated Certification system that evaluates and certifies competencies to standardized criteria. It also integrates advanced technologies such as AR/VR and 3D animation, delivering immersive, accessible learning experiences that meet the needs of all medical personnel in the digital era.
The platform has become a comprehensive “medical knowledge hub” covering all dimensions of expertise—from basic clinical knowledge and medical specialties to significant research, lectures from academic conferences, and content on soft skills, technology, and future health innovations. It supports online courses, live training, and academic conferences. Currently, it hosts more than 18,000 users and over 3,000 content items delivered by more than 800 expert instructors, reflecting a strong, quality-driven learning community.
“MDCU MedUMORE” represents another significant milestone for Chulalongkorn University in elevating Thailand’s medical education, research, and workforce development to international standards. It aims to drive Thai society forward through knowledge, technology, and sustainable innovation. The platform provides access to medical knowledge anytime and anywhere for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, students, researchers, public health professionals, and the general public, through an easy-to-use system available on both computers and mobile devices—fully supporting lifelong learning for health professionals in the modern world.
