Announcement on Selected Participants for the Chula Media Fellowship Program 2026

Chulalongkorn University has given the approval for the Chulalongkorn University Communication Center to carry out the Chula Media Fellowship Program for the year 2026. The program aims at inviting partner journalists from international media organizations to study and exchange their experiences at Chulalongkorn University through scholarship support provided by the university.

The Center was assigned to review and select qualified candidates for the program and scholarship support, as previously detailed and the process has now been completed and four recipients of the scholarship selected as follows:

1. Mr. Keita Yoshimitsu
   The Tokyo and The Chunichi Shimbun
   
2. Mr. Sun Guangyong
   People’s Daily
   
3. Ms. Putri Demes Dharmesty
   CNN Indonesia
   
4. Mr. Htet Aung Phyoe
   Nikkei Asia

The participants will receive scholarship support for a period of six months (January–June 2026), which includes:

1. A Monthly Stipend
   For Type A applicants (non-Thai citizens): A lump sum of THB 33,400 per person (before tax).
   
2. Tuition and Course Fees at the University that the participant opts to enroll in
   Reimbursed on an actual cost basis, not to exceed THB 40,000 per person.
   
3. Funding for Excursions and/or Participation in Activities organized by the University
   Reimbursed on an actual cost basis, not to exceed THB 30,000 per person.

Remarks: Items 2 and 3 are sums that the Chulalongkorn University Communication Center handles directly with the relevant agencies within the University.
