Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, together with Associate Professor Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President for Strategic Affairs and International Networks, welcomed senior executives from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, to discuss academic and research collaboration. The meeting took place on January 28, 2026, at the Reception Room on the 7th floor of the Chamchuri 4 Building.
Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaya, along with Mr. Collins Chong Yew Keat, Special Officer to the Vice-Chancellor, held discussions with Chulalongkorn University on academic exchange, faculty and student exchanges at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and joint research projects.
In addition, executives from Chulalongkorn University and Universiti Malaya discussed the possibility of establishing joint research grants and collaboration in the fields of genetics and aging society studies under the ASEAN University Network (AUN), as well as agreements on online learning and short-term programs. This meeting marks another important step in strengthening the positive relationship between the two universities.
