Chula Economics Students Win Top Honors at National Undergraduate Economics Competition 

Chulalongkorn University extends its congratulations to students from the Faculty of Economics, Chulalongkorn University, who won the first prize and first runner-up prize in the Undergraduate Economics Quiz and Research Paper Presentation Competition for Academic Year.  The competition was held on February 5, 2026, at Srinakharinwirot University, with participation from 18 public and private higher education institutions nationwide.

The First Prize Winner: 
Mr. Poonperm Phunchuen, 4th-year student 
Advisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongsak Luangaram 

The Faculty of Economics team received the first runner-up prize, consisting of: 

  • Ms. Nuengruethai Trakunphithakkit, 3rd-year student 
  • Mr. Siwat Panpetch, 3rd-year student 
  • Mr. Trairat Korpnichakul, 4th-year student 

For this competition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nipit Wongpunya, Asst. Prof. Dr. Watcharapong Ratisukpimol, and Dr. Chanon Thongthai served as team supervisors.
