Chulalongkorn University students who won the Gen Z Wealth Delegates program traveled on a study visit to Singapore, Asia’s financial hub, from January 27 to 29. During the trip, they gained hands-on experience at Fidelity International, a leading global investment management company.
Over the course of three full days, the students attended in-depth lectures on international wealth management strategies and analyzed the rapidly evolving global investment landscape. The experience provided young participants with a rare opportunity to witness behind-the-scenes operations of global portfolio management, helping bridge the gap between classroom theory and excellence in the real business world.
The Gen Z Wealth Delegates program is a strategic collaboration among three leading organizations: the Office of Student Affairs, Chulalongkorn University; Krungthai Bank; and Fidelity International Singapore. The initiative aims to equip Thailand’s next generation of financial professionals with essential skills and cultivate a global mindset, preparing them to grow and navigate the complexities of today’s highly sophisticated global financial markets.
The Chula student representatives of Gen Z returned with sharper perspectives on the global economy, along with valuable networking connections with professional mentors from world-class asset management firms.
One participating student shared, “This trip was not just about learning—it broadened our horizons. Seeing the scale of the global financial industry in Singapore has completely redefined what we consider ‘possible’ in our career paths.”
