Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, attended the APAIE 2026 Dinner Reception hosted by Singapore Management University (SMU) on February 24, 2026, at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The reception was held as part of the APAIE Conference 2026.
The reception was hosted in the name of Prof. Lily Kong, President of SMU, and brought together leaders of higher education institutions from around the world as well as global partners. The event aimed to strengthen academic collaboration networks and explore opportunities for cooperation across various dimensions of higher education. The program included welcome remarks by Prof. Lily Kong, President of SMU; a presentation of the “SMU 2030” vision by SMU Provost Prof. Alan Chan; and a gala dinner.
This event reflected SMU’s role as one of Asia’s leading universities, committed to driving innovation, fostering international collaboration, and advancing knowledge to prepare graduates for the global landscape, alongside a strong sense of social responsibility.
The President of Chulalongkorn University’s participation in this reception further reinforced ties with international partner networks within the framework of APAIE 2026 and reaffirmed the University’s mission to promote academic collaboration at the global level.
