Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, together with members of the university’s executive team and a delegation from Chulalongkorn University, participated in HKU Partner Day at the area outside Grade Hall, The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, on February 23, 2026. The event was held in conjunction with the APAIE 2026 Conference.
Following the opening ceremony, Chulalongkorn University’s executives joined workshops aligned with their academic disciplines and interests. Topics included building resilient and inclusive higher education systems; the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in education at HKU; promoting interdisciplinary entrepreneurship among students; and approaches to creating a university environment conducive to student development.
On this occasion, the Chulalongkorn delegation toured the University of Hong Kong and visited its museum, followed by a networking luncheon hosted by the University of Hong Kong to foster collaborative partnerships.
Participation in HKU Partner Day provided an important platform for representatives from Chulalongkorn University to exchange perspectives with partner institutions from around the world and to further strengthen international academic collaboration in teaching and learning, research, and student development in concrete ways.
HKU Partner Day 2026 was held in celebration of the 115th anniversary of the founding of the University of Hong Kong, reflecting its long-standing mission of pursuing academic excellence, building global partnerships, and driving innovation for society.
