INSPIRATION:
“Sandaan” is a word that most Thai people automatically register a meaning to. Contemplating further on the word “sandaan”, we might discover something that we may or may not possess, which is “independence”. It was created since we were young and is usually based on parenting, mental health and individual needs, all of which may lead to various behaviors and self-expressions. This eventually may affect society, the people around, or reinforce the state of mind of the human world. Perhaps even released out into forms of power abuse, racism, and selfishness.
In the creations, human traits and needs are represented mainly by animal characters, indulging the world that is full of desire. Explore the exhibition and find out – Which creation can you identify yourself with?

Chula is the place to discover one’s true individuality and the years I spent here were most enjoyable.
