Chula Signs MOU for Provincial University Library Network with Nine Leading Academic Institutions

The Director of Academic Resources, Associate Professor Dr. Amorn Petsom, on behalf of Chulalongkorn University, has signed a memorandum of understanding for academic cooperation with nine leading academic institutions to launch the Provincial University Library Network (PULINET).  The alliance includes Kasetsart University, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, Ramkhamhaeng University, Srinakharinwirot University, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA), and Chulalongkorn University.  The MOU is to foster academic collaboration, optimizing and sharing the information technology available, and to maximize the benefits and efficiency of information resource management.   By organizing academic and related activities, the alliance members will all benefit in extending and getting the highest and best use of funds for information resources.  The collaboration also creates opportunities for personnel to exchange knowledge and opens doors for equal access to lifelong learning.  The MOU term is for five years.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
