CU Faculty of Engineering Signs MOU with Drone Association of Thailand

October 27, 2020The graduate program in Defense Engineering and Technology, Chulalongkorn University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Drone Association of Thailand to provide knowledge, train, and give input for further curriculum development and research on drones.

Prof. Suphot Techworasinsakul, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University; Assoc. Prof. Pichaya Rachdawong , Ph.D., Director of Chula’s Defense Engineering and Technology Program; Mr. Prayute Maneechote, President of Drone Association of Thailand; and Mr. Pairote Peukwilai, Vice President of Drone Association of Thailand were present at the MOU signing ceremony.

The graduate program in Defense Engineering and Technology is an academic collaboration between the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, and the Royal Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy.   Administrators of the Faculty of Engineering, Deputy Director of the Education Division, Royal Chulachomklao Royal Academy, and management of the Drone Association of Thailand discussed academic cooperation and plans to invite experts in drone science to train and educate engineering students, staff, faculty and interested parties.  Further discussions were also made regarding cooperation in curriculum development, research, and related projects.

Chula is the place to discover one’s true individuality and the years I spent here were most enjoyable.
