Happy New Year 2021 with Chula Cards and the “Chula Plantable Calendar”

Chulalongkorn University invites you to send happiness by sharing and sending pictures during the upcoming New Year Celebration 2021.   To stay environmentally friendly this year, “save the pictures” in this news article (pictured below), then share and pass on your best wishes, while at the same time retell stories of the many Chula innovations for society.

The series of photos displayed are a collection from the “Chula Plantable Calendar”, printed by Chula for faculty and staff members to give this New Year.  The calendars were created under three concepts:

• Planting Greens: The calendar’s strap is embedded with seeds that can be grown into edible vegetables.
• Planting Nature: The paper is made from “Eco Fiber” pulp.  No trees were cut and no harm was done to nature.
• Planting Ideas: The calendar’s content plants innovative ideas for sustainability.
