Announcement: The COVID-19 Committee Chulalongkorn University Measures Implemented after Members of the Community Are Found to Have Been Infected with the 2019 Corona Virus (COVID-19) 7/2021

With reference to the announcement that residents of the staff dormitory building have been found to be infected by the Corona Virus (COVID-19) and that all patients have since been admitted for treatment at Chulalongkorn Hospital;

The Chulalongkorn Health Center has taken urgent measures to expand the proactive screening to an additional 243 persons and found 3 more persons infected with the 2019 Corona Virus (COVID-19).  It also carried out screening of persons who came into close contact with the initial group of infected persons and found 1 other person who tested positive bringing the number of this other group to 4 infected persons and as such the total number of cases now stands at 20 infected persons on the Chula premises from February 5-11, 2021.  The COVID-19 Committee Chulalongkorn University will therefore proceed to announce additional relevant measures.
