Chula Engineering Professor and Students Receive Awards from Engineering Institute of Thailand Under H.M. the King’s Patronage

December 22, 2020, His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua graciously assigned the Privy Councillor, Professor Kasem Watanachai, to represent him in welcoming the committee of the Engineering Institute of Thailand Under H.M. the King’s Patronage, presenting the 2020 Academic Excellence Medals to 44 engineering students who achieved high academic standing, and awarding an Honorary Plaque to the winner of the 2020 Outstanding Engineering Textbook Award.

Chulalongkorn University congratulates Assoc.Prof.Dr. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj, from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, who won the 2020 Outstanding Engineering Textbook Award for her text  “Epoxy Resin for Microelectronic Assembly on Flexible Circuit Boards”.

Also, the university would like to congratulate Mr. Piwat Chongcharoen, a fourth-year student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, and Mr. Naravich Chutisilp, a fourth-year student from the Department of Computer Engineering, for receiving the 2020 Academic Excellence Award. 

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
