A haze in the skyline is becoming a fixture that people living in big cities are forced to wake up to. Although invisible to the naked eye, the PM 2.5 dust has returned to Bangkok, and we can definitely see it. Wearing a mask and avoiding outdoor activities helps, but did you know that these minute particles can still be found indoors at levels equal to or slightly lower than outdoors?
To help with the PM 2.5 problem, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science has created a dust-reduction spray, PhytFoon, to trap the tiny dust particles suspended in the air. The Phytfoon PM 2.5 dust-reduction spray, produced from natural ingredients, was invented by an Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchada Sukrong and Asst. Prof. Dr. Pasarapa Towiwat, professors from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Chulalongkorn University. Once sprayed into the air, PhytFoon traps the PM 2.5 dust, putting weight on the particles to land quickly on the floor.
Main Features of “Phytfoon” PM 2.5 Dust–reduction Spray
The Phytfoon dust-reduction spray is now available at the Community Pharmacy Laboratory, or Osotsala, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. Two fragrances are available, Lemon Fresh and Ocean Breeze, and the spray comes in two sizes, Small (160 ml., 389 baht) and Large (300 ml., 595 baht).
For more information, visit Facebook: osotsala, Line: osotsala or call 0-2218-8428 (10.00 – 17.00 hrs).
