Chula Ranked 1st in Thailand for 22 Subjects by QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021

Chulalongkorn University was ranked first in Thailand for 22 subjects in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2021.

In the newly released QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021, Chulalongkorn University made the world’s top 100 university list for two subjects: Petroleum Engineering and Social Policy and Administration. Also making the top subject lists were Architecture/Built Environment, Geography, and Politics and International Studies, which were all included in the world’s top 150.

Of the 51 subjects considered, Chulalongkorn University made Thailand’s best in 22 subjects:

  • Law
  • Sociology
  • Art & Design
  • Modern Languages
  • Engineering – Electrical & Electronic
  • Chemistry

  • Materials Science
  • Physics & Astronomy
  • Computer Science & Info Systems

The QS World University Rankings by Subject are based on four weighted indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, and H-index citation.
