Chula Law Students Win 3 Awards to Represent Thailand at Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition

Congratulations to Chula law students for winning three awards from the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (National round).  The team of Chula law students will represent Thailand and continue to the global round. 

Organized by the International Law Students Association, the national-round competition is an advocacy competition for law students from leading universities to showcase their bright talents through simulated proceedings before the International Court of Justice.  For this year, the competition has switched to online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The team of Chula law students won the “Best Memorial – Respondent” award under the supervision of Dr. Papawadee Tanodomdej.
Members of the student team included:

– Ms. Rinreda Sakiyalak (received the “Best Oralist – Applicant” award)

– Ms. Thanyalak Prasomtong (received the “Best New Face – Respondent” award)

– Ms. Pimkul Triamvicharnkul

– Ms. Chatmanee Trisonthi

– Mr. Andaman Saithong

The team will represent Thailand and join the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (Global round) in March 2021, via an online platform.
