 The opening ceremony will be on January 24, 2017, at 3 p.m., with opening remarks from Professor Emeritus Suchart Taothong.

Art Concept:

Through the perception and analysis of the natural and environmental elements, the creations aim to understand the phenomenon of Songkhla Lake, dividing the components found into major and minor features. From an artistic perspective, this is a method of creating expressed or implied painting. Examining water resources from a western and eastern point of view, using reflections and identification is, therefore, a way for viewers to explore pictures from a new angle.  By bouncing back and forth between what is shown and what is perceived, viewers are able to develop meaning, value and an appreciation of the aesthetics on display. The synergy of the different methods of perception, using paintings, sets up a new context for visual learning and appreciation of art.
