QS World University ranks 18 subjects at Chulalongkorn University as Top 200 in the World

Chulalongkorn University made the top 150 list of QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018 for Engineering & Technology and Social Sciences & Management.  Also making the top subject lists were CU’s Arts & Humanities in the top 200, Life Sciences & Medicine in the top 250, and Natural Sciences in the top 300.

Overall, CU ranked higher by subject in three fields.  Social Sciences and Management ascended from 159^th to 139^th, Engineering and Technology from 147^th to 140^th, and Arts and Humanities moved up from 210^th to 197^th.

On the other hand, the rankings of several subjects have slightly dropped, including Biological Sciences from 203^rd to 215^th and Natural Sciences from 256^th to 266^th.

CU Subjects that made the top rankings included:

World Rank 1-100: Engineering: Mineral & Mining and Engineering: Chemical.

World Rank 101 – 200: Accounting & Finance; Architecture & Built Environment; Environmental Sciences; Geography; Modern Languages; Pharmacy & Pharmacology; Politics & International Studies; Business & Management Studies; Chemistry; Engineering: Civil & Structural; Engineering: Electrical & Electronic; Engineering: Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing; Linguistics; Materials Science; Medicine; and Sociology.

World Rank 201 – 350: Economics & Econometrics, Biological Sciences, Computer Science & Information System, and Physics & Astronomy
