The Sub-Committee for Medical Standards and Public Health and the Commencement Ceremony for the 2020 Academic Year Committee have issued COVID-19 Preventive Measures for the Royal Commencement Ceremony and Rehearsals applicable for graduates, staff members and other relevant persons attending Chulalongkorn University’s Commencement Ceremony for the 2020 academic year on Thursday the 19th and Friday the 20th of May, 2022 and rehearsals taking place between April 22nd and May 16th, 2022 to follow. All persons are required to wear masks, sanitize their hands, maintain distancing and check their temperature. Those with a temperature of more than 37.5 Celsius or a history of infection risk will be sent to the medical section for consultation.
– All graduates take an ATK test in advance not more than 24 hours prior to the ceremony. (Kindly refer to the details specified on the poster publicizing the matter.)
– In cases where the ATK test shows a negative result they are permitted to attend the ceremony whereas anyone with a positive result may not attend the ceremony.
Must have received at least 3 doses of COVID-19 and in cases where they are unable to be vaccinated due to medical reasons a medical certificate shall be presented.
The University holds a RT-PCR test on Wednesday May 18th, 2022 (No more than 48 hours before the ceremony. Anyone with a positive ATK test result will not be permitted to attend the ceremony.
Kindly take note that for graduates, personnel, staff members and relevant persons as well as guests wishing to congratulate the graduates who have had a history of COVID-19 infection only those who have been cured at least 30 days prior to the ceremony counting from the day the virus was detected must present a medical certificate and strictly follow the medical guidelines in place.
