Robot from EIC Chula Team Passes RoboCup@Home 2022 

Congratulations to the EIC Chula Team, the team of Engineering Innovation Club students from the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, for officially being accepted to join the RoboCup@Home 2022 competition. which will be held offline during 11 – 17 July 2022 at Bitec Bangna. The team of engineering students has developed “Walkie”, an intelligent autonomous service robot, to join the competition. The robot has a height of 170 cm., and is 70 cm. wide and 70 cm long. Designed to be functional, the “Walkie” is able to conduct 10 daily-life activities, such as carrying luggage or storing groceries.

So let them know that we’ve got their back by rooting for the EIC_Chula Team to sail through to the final round of the competition and win big.

RoboCup@Home 2022 is one of the largest international annual competitions for autonomous service robots, held by RoboCup Federation, which aims to build robots that can perform activities just like humans, or sometimes even more effectively. The league aims to develop service and assistive robot technology, with high relevance for personal domestic applications in the future.
