Two Chula Business School Students Win First Place in Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2022-1

Congratulations to Miss Romrada Ladmarong and Mr. Phuriphat Charoensin, 3rd year students majoring in Information Technology for Business, Chulalongkorn Business School (CBS), for winning the global “Swift Student Challenge” award at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference 2022 (WWDC22). Organized by Apple Inc., the conference seeks to recruit, from around the world, students who have submitted work on the Application Development by using the Swift programming language to solve problems.   

Under the supervision of Dr. Worasit Chuchaiwatana, the two applications that won the first place were: 

  • Segregation – Developed by Mr.Phuriphat Charoensin, the application is designed to assist each household to separate waste properly. This will help reduce the problem of waste segregation, a major problem in Thailand.  
  • Fishing Shark – Developed by Miss Romrada Ladmarong, the game application encourages and raises awareness of the need to preserve marine life, by allowing players to fish in the ocean, then get knowledge about how to preserve marine environment at the end of the game.
