Established in 1940 and noted as the first dental school in Thailand, the faculty is committed to producing competent dentistry graduates, as well as developing research on oral health and protection against oral diseases for the public. The faculty also provides dental services to the general public, both on campus and in remote areas of Thailand. From 2014 to 2016, the faculty was ranked highest among all the dental schools in the nation by QS World University Rankings.
This exceptional museum is one of the 11 museums in the world and the first in Southeast Asia that displays the human body using the plastination technique, a process designed to preserve and maintain the properties of bodies or body parts. The plastination exhibit, displayed in categories, is provided as an educational tool, not only for medical professionals but also for the broader public.
