Chula Faculty of Architecture Forges Exciting Partnership with Xi’an University

The Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, led by the faculty’s Dean, Assistant Professor Sarayut Supsook, along with administrators and professors, recently participated in “The Inaugural Conference of the Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural and Technological Universities”.  Held at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology (XAUAT) in Xi’an, People’s Republic of China, from October 18 to 21, 2023, the conference’s theme was “Building a Beautiful Home for Mankind with a Focus on Urbanization.” 

During the event, the Faculty of Architecture at Chulalongkorn University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for collaboration with the College of Architecture at Xi’an University of Architecture & Technology (XAUAT) and joined the academic committee of The Silk Road International Alliance of Architectural & Technological Universities network. This collaboration aims to develop action plans and agreements for the cooperation network, fostering research expansion and facilitating student and faculty exchanges, as well as other academic activities. 

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
