Chula Welcomes the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation

On Friday, October 20, 2023, Ms. Suppamas Issarapakdee, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, paid an official visit to Chulalongkorn University and was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, Chulalongkorn University’s President, at Room 202, Chamchuri 4 Building. The President gave a welcome speech and congratulations on the occasion of her recent appointment as the Minister of MHESI. The Minister was given a report on the university’s goals and research and innovation by Prof. Dr. Chakkaphan Sutthirat, Vice President for Research Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Kaywalee Chatdarong, Vice President for Strategic Planning, Innovation, and Global Engagement, as well as a presentation on student support and Chula Student Wellness by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chaiyaporn Puprasert, Vice President for Student Affairs. The President then presented a gift from the University to the Minister.   

As an alumna of the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, Ms. Suppamas Issarapakdee visited the Faculty of Engineering, the student club MI the Making of Innovatist, and the faculty’s library, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, Prof. Dr. Supot Teachavorasinskun, Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and the faculty’s administrative board.
