The exhibition “RUN Towards Impact” highlights research projects that have had a profound impact on academia, the economy, society, communities, and the environment. These projects are presented through the lens of the “SDG” concept, which stands for:

  • S-Soft Power: Promoting Thailand’s creative economy through cultural influence, lifestyle changes, and fostering creative thinking.
  • D-Deep Science and Technology: Pioneering advanced research and development in science and technology, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and capability.
  • G-Global Trends: Showcasing research that addresses future global challenges, lifestyle changes, and aims to achieve sustainable development goals.

Chulalongkorn University presented three research projects at the exhibition:

The Research University Network (RUN) comprises eight leading universities in Thailand: Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, Thammasat University, Mahidol University, Prince of Songkla University, and Naresuan University. This collaboration is founded on the principles of sincerity, equality, and excellence—referred to as the “SEXy way”—with the shared goal of advancing research in the country.

The Thailand Research Expo 2024 held from August 26 to 30, 2024, on the 22nd floor of the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld, Bangkok.

The sense of kinship and warmth found in the Chula community is priceless and a treasure worth keeping.
