Chulalongkorn University invites all interested parties to attend the seminar “5th iTIC Forum 2024: Safe & Smart Mobility by Traffic Discipline,” organized by the Intelligent Traffic Information Center Foundation (iTIC). The event aims to raise awareness of the importance of traffic discipline in society and promote the development of smart transportation and traffic systems in Thailand.
The seminar will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Room 117, 1st Floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, will deliver the welcome address, and Mr. Arkhom Termpittayapaisith, former Minister of Transport, will give the opening remarks and express his congratulations.
In the afternoon, a reception for partner organizations and sponsors will be held at True Lab, 1st Floor, Building 3, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. This event will also applaud Mr. Ninnart Chaithirapinyo for receiving the “ITS Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award” at the 30th ITS World Congress (Intelligent Transport System World Congress) on September 16, 2024, in Dubai, UAE. This prestigious award is the highest honor in the intelligent transportation industry from ITS World Congress 2024. Mr. Ninnart serves as the President of the iTIC Foundation, an honorary advisor for Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd., and honorary president of the Intelligent Transport Systems Association of Thailand.
