Representatives of Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels Visit CU

On June 7, 2019, Dr.Supot Tiarawut, Chief Transformation Officer of the CU Transformation Project and  Dr.Piyabutr Bunaramrueang, lecturer of the Faculty of Law, Chulalongkorn University, welcomed a group of representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, led by Mr. Roongruk  Chanprasert, and Professor Dr.Jean Herveg, head of Liberties and Information Society Department, University of Namur.

The visit was to observe the operation of the 5G AI/ Internet of Things (IOT) Innovation Center and share views on data protection technologies in universities, especially through the discussion of case studies in the University of Namur, Chulalongkorn University, and Thailand.  Moreover, both universities have expressed interest in conducting collaborative research on data protection and the direction of specific legislation, as well as discussed possibilities for future collaboration, including student exchange programs and workshops.
