Chula Ranks #1 in Thailand with 240 Professorships—The Highest in the Nation 

Chulalongkorn University holds the top position among Thai universities with the most professorships in Thailand, totaling 240 professors, according to data from the Office of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) on October 10, 2024.

The fact that Chulalongkorn University has the highest number of professors in the country reflects its excellence in academics and research. Professors play a crucial role in creating new knowledge, developing quality research, transferring knowledge to students, and driving the university to become a hub for learning and innovation, aiming to address social issues and contribute to sustainable national development.
