Chula Welcomes President of Nanyang Technological University for Discussions on Academic and Research Cooperation 

On February 17, 2025, at the Reception Room, 2nd Floor, Chamchuri 4 Building, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Palanee Ammaranond, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University, welcomed Prof. Ho Teck Hua, Ph.D., President of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) from Singapore, and his delegation. They visited Chulalongkorn University to discuss cooperation in various areas. 

During the meeting, discussions were held regarding a fundraising project in the form of Venture Capital (VC), focusing on exploring opportunities for funding startup businesses and innovation-driven projects. Additionally, the cooperation on research to address global challenges was discussed, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in healthcare, AI for Net Zero, and AI for agriculture. There were also talks about student exchange programs at the graduate level and the possibility of launching a Double Degree Master’s program. 

This collaboration between Chulalongkorn University and Nanyang Technological University highlights the commitment of both institutions to advancing academic excellence and research through strategic partnerships, with plans to develop various future initiatives.
