Chula President Welcomes Oregon State University President   

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, recently welcomed a delegation from Oregon State University, led by Prof. Jayathi Y. Murthy, President of Oregon State University, on an official visit to discuss academic collaboration. The meeting took place at the reception room on the 2nd floor of Chamchuri 4 Building.   

During the visit, senior executives from both universities engaged in discussions on strengthening academic collaboration in various fields, including engineering, business administration, agriculture, science, and artificial intelligence (AI). The two institutions also reached an agreement to promote student exchange programs to enhance educational opportunities between Chulalongkorn University and Oregon State University. 

Also present to welcome the delegation were Assistant Professor Dr. Tewarit Sarachana, Assistant to the President for Global Engagement and International Networks, as well as Quality Assurance; Professor Dr. Voranop Viyakarn, Director of the Research Institute for Water Resources; Associate Professor Dr. Piyaphong Chenrai, Head of the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science; and Assistant Professor Dr. Sukonmeth Jitmahantakul, Department of Geology, Faculty of Science.
