Chula President Meets Bangladesh Nobel Laureate to Discuss Grameen Bank Cooperation 

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, recently met with Mr. Muhammad Yunus, Chairman of the Bangladesh Government Advisory Council, to discuss cooperation with Chulalongkorn University in the Grameen Bank project on April 3, 2025, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. 

Mr. Yunus, a Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist, is the founder of the “Social Business” concept and the Grameen Bank, which focuses on providing financial services to the poor. He also established the Yunus Foundation and the Yunus Centre, a leading global organization for social development.
