CU Releases “Life of Kwan” to Promote an Eco-friendly Commencement Day
Following last year’s success of “The Gift”, an original short film to promote CU Zero Waste during the commencement period, Chulalongkorn University has released a new short film, “Life of Kwan”, to continue the campaign for waste reduction on campus. This year’s promotional film continues to encourage graduates and visitors to reduce waste by refraining from giving single-use gifts, such as flowers, balloons, or other decorative materials.
“Life of Kwan” features special honorary cast members from the Chula board of executives, including Professor Dr. Pirongrong Ramasoota (Vice President for Social Outreach and Global Engagement), Assistant Professor Dr. Chaiyaporn Puprasert (Vice President for Student and Alumni Affairs), Mr. Pokai Sriratanobhas (Assistant to the President for Special Affairs), Assistant Professor Dr. Chaipat Lawsirirat (Assistant to the President for Student and Alumni Affairs), Associate Professor Santi Chantavilasvong (Advisor to the President), and Professor Lersom Sthapitanonda (Advisor to the President).
“Life of Kwan” is produced by Chatchai KunPonpitak and Wongsakorn Jaihuab, and directed by Chatshai Prasertmak. The three are the same team that produced “The Gift”, which has received several awards, including the the Bronze Award for Digital Content for Education, and Honorable Mention from the category Film: Public Services Campaigns, Civic Campaigns and Social Campaigns from the WINA World Independent Advertising Awards 2019 in Bogota, Colombia.
