“Molly Ally” Plant-Based Ice Cream from CU Innovation Hub Team Wins 1st Runner-Up at TED Youth Startup Championship 2025

“Molly Ally: Plant-Based Ice Cream That’s Good for Your Health—and Your Heart,” an innovative creation by the CU Innovation Hub Entrepreneur Development Network, earned 1st Runner-Up for Top Innovation in the Central Region at the TED Youth Startup Championship 2025. The event, hosted by the Technology and Innovation-Based Enterprise Development Fund (TED Fund), was held on April 30, 2025, at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center to spotlight ideas from TED Fellows across Thailand’s central region.

Developed by Ms. Chotima Meemungtham, Ms. Karnchanit Bubpachuen, and Ms. Ratee Bavoramongsak of Molly Ally Co., Ltd., the plant-based ice cream uses an Emulsify Integrated System that extends shelf life to 12–15 months without the need for preservatives. The technology enables precise control of fat structure and texture— tackling major challenges in the plant-based ice cream sector, including consumer satisfaction and export readiness. It also supports OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) business expansion and strengthens the global competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs.
