Top Executives Gather for ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands

The Master in Branding and Marketing (MBM) Program organized the “ASEAN and Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands 2019” at the Stock Exchange of Thailand on August 23, 2019.  Prof. Dr. Bundhit Eua-arporn, President of Chulalongkorn University, and the Dean of Chulalongkorn Business School, Assist.Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, presided over the awards ceremony.

The Corporate Brand Success (CBS) Valuation integrates marketing, finance, and accounting to measure corporate brands.   The evaluation points out the highest corporate brand values in all business sectors and is used by companies as a  KPI to identify key factors towards a company’s success and sustainability.

Additionally, the top corporate brands receiving the award for five consecutive years will be placed on the Thailand’s Top Corporate Brands Hall of Fame 2019.  The six companies that have been listed on the Hall of Fame are Bangkok Life Assurance, Central Plaza Hotel, Airports of Thailand, Bangkok Dusit Medical Services, Central Pattana, and Delta Electronics (Thailand).  Moreover, awards for Top Corporate Brand 2019 were given to fifteen companies from Thailand and six companies from other countries in ASEAN.

The CBS Valuation research has been recognized as “the Outstanding Research in Economics” by the National Research Council of Thailand in 2014.

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
