On May 20, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Yootthana Chuppunnarat, Vice President of Chulalongkorn University and Director of the Coordinating Center for the Royal Initiative Plant Genetic Conservation Project under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (RSPG), attended the opening ceremony of the School Botanical Garden Workshop titled “The 5 Components Curriculum.” The event, held from May 20–23, 2025, brought together administrators, teachers, and education personnel—led by the Education Chief of Lopburi Province—for theoretical learning and hands-on training amid the green spaces of Chulalongkorn University’s Khao Yai Campus in Kaeng Khoi District, Saraburi Province.
On the same day, the Chula Regional Learning Network Center hosted a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saraburi Community Development Study and Training Center, part of the Community Development Department under the Ministry of Interior. The agreement focuses on supporting and promoting community development initiatives. The MoU was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yootthana Chuppunnarat and Mr. Thinnakorn Boonngern, Inspector General of the Community Development Department and Acting Director of the Saraburi Study and Development Center. The collaboration, which began in 2024, is being extended and formalized to further initiatives, particularly related to the RSPG Project and local career development programs aimed at overcoming poverty traps in Saraburi.

This activity is part of the “Chula Social Engagement: Chulalongkorn Proudly Serving Society” strategy, which aims to foster a local learning ecosystem that promotes sustainable intellectual, emotional, and quality-of-life development within the community.
