Chulalongkorn University Welcomes Executives from Durham University for Academic Collaboration 

Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Chulalongkorn University’s President, welcomed Prof. Dr. Clive Roberts, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Durham University in the United Kingdom, on his visit for academic collaboration on May 20, 2025, at Chamchuri 4 Building. Also present were the university’s executives, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and representatives from the Faculty of Science.  

This cooperation discussion focused on the exchange of students, faculty, and researchers between the institutions, and expanding both academic and research collaboration across various fields of study, such as Railway Engineering, Business, Psychology, Physics, Behavioral Science, Music and Brain Response, and Biology. The collaboration also aims to promote joint research and the possibility of developing Joint Degree Programs and Double Degree Programs, as well as connecting startups from both universities. 

         

The delegates from Durham University visited Chulalongkorn University again for a meeting between representatives from both universities on Friday May 23, 2025, to discuss further joint projects or activities.
