Department of Library Science First in ASEAN to Receive Accreditation from UK’s Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals

The Bachelor’s and Master’s Program at the Department of Library Science, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University, is the first institute in the ASEAN region to receive accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP). The accreditation is for 5 years, from 17 October 2019 – 17 October 2024.

This accreditation certifies that CU graduates from the Information Studies Program are internationally qualified to work in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.
