Hackathon for Growth: Chula Staff Showcase AI Solutions for a “University of AI” Vision 

Chulalongkorn University’s Human Resources Management Office, together with the Faculty of Engineering, held a closing ceremony of the Hackathon for Growth: AI Together – Growing and Learning AI Together on August 19, 2025, at the 7th Floor Conference Room, Mahathir Rachanusorn Building. Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, presided over the event and presented awards to Chula staff who won in the categories of My ChulaGENIE and My Chula Agent. 

The Hackathon for Growth: AI Together was held on June 12 and 17, 2025, at the Faculty of Engineering Conference Room and the 3rd Floor Conference Room of Chulapat 4 Building, with the final presentations of 10 shortlisted teams on August 19, 2025, at Mahathir Rachanusorn Building. 

The project aims to support Chulalongkorn University’s vision of becoming a “University of AI” by developing staff with the readiness to use AI technology and promoting the application of AI to solve problems and meet the needs of university units and users, as well as enhancing AI knowledge and skills among interested staff. The program emphasized practical applications such as developing chatbots and workflows, while also creating a platform for knowledge exchange, experience sharing, and networking among those interested in AI.
