CU-TU Traditional Football Match #74: Make a CHANGE

The 74th CU-TU event of the year is just around the corner.  Chulalongkorn University will host the annual CU-TU Football Match  on Saturday, 8 February 2020.

Peeranat Wiriya, CU senior from the Faculty of Fine Arts and President of the Traditional Football Organizing Committee at Chulalongkorn University reveals, “This year, the concept of the traditional CU-TU Football Match is to ‘Make a CHANGE’,  a reference to sustainability and raising awareness about social issues.  Under this theme, the universities aim to call attention to the environmental problems that arise in our daily lives and encourage various communities to help save our planet.  We all can start with simple habits, like waste separation, recycling, or refraining from using single-use plastic.”

Expect a grand opening ceremony parade, cheerleading, the satirical and often witty card stunts, and of course an exciting football match. Come join us, because a CU-TU Football Match is never just a football match.
