Chula Education Student Joins the 14th UNESCO Youth Forum in Uzbekistan

Mr. Kittikorn Hongyim, a doctoral student in the International Program in Educational Leadership and Administration, Department of Education Policy, Management, and Leadership, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, was selected to represent Thailand at the 14th UNESCO Youth Forum, held from October 26–28, 2025, at the Silk Road Samarkand Conference Center, Uzbekistan.

His participation was supported by the Secretariat of the National Commission for UNESCO and the Ministry of Education. The forum brought together over 150 youth delegates from nearly 140 countries to propose policy recommendations on climate change, sustainability, and social equity.

The 14th UNESCO Youth Forum produced two key outcome documents — the Call to Action and the Global Recommendations — outlining six major areas of collaboration:

  • Youth engagement in climate governance
  • Education for sustainability
  • Green innovation
  • Ethical digital transformation
  • Community well-being and resilience
  • Cultural heritage preservation

All outcomes and recommendations from the Youth Forum will be presented at the 43rd UNESCO General Conference in November 2025.

Chula is the place to discover one’s true individuality and the years I spent here were most enjoyable.
