BAScii’s Words of Encouragement: A Video Clip from BAScii Students to Medical Staff During the COVID-19 Crisis

The freshmen students from the Bachelor of Art and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii), Chulalongkorn University, have created a thank-you video clip showing support and appreciation for the doctors, nurses and public health officers for their herculean efforts during the COVID-19 crisis.

In the video, called “BAScii’s Words of Encouragement”, 51 students held signs written with encouraging messages, cheered and applauded to thank all the medical staff who have gone above and beyond in caring for the patients and handling the COVID-19 epidemic.

“This video clip is a heartfelt expression from the students who are currently studying online from home since the university closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.” said Dr. Warinya Chemnasiri, Director of the BAScii program. One of the courses offered in the program is the “Health and Wellness” course in which students are expected to integrate robots and artificial intelligence with health issues, creating a comprehensive smart city.

The 1-minute video clip ends with a hopeful message that
“Together, we will create a better, kinder and more humane world.”

Chula’s encouragement and support for research is excellent for teachers, students, and the public.
