Changes in Opening-Closing of CU Gates (Starting on 18 November 2021)

Due to the ongoing system construction on Chula Soi 9 Road (Banthat Thong Fire Station – Sam Yan Market) the gates at Chulalongkorn University Stadium must be closed temporarily. Chulalongkorn University therefore wishes to announce changes to the opening and closing of gates to facilitate traffic and pedestrians within the university starting from November 18, 2021:

  1. The gates at Chamchuri 9 Building are open as the exit gates for vehicles and serve as a route to Chula Soi 42 road.
  • Monday-Friday from 06.00 – 20.00 hrs.
  • Weekends and public holidays from 06.00 – 18.00 hrs.
  1. The gates at the indoor stadium, Chula Sports Center are open as exit gates for vehicles and serve as a route to Chula Soi 9 road.
  • Monday-Friday from 06.00 – 20.00 hrs.
  • Weekends and public holidays from 06.00 – 18.00 hrs.
  1. The pedestrian gates at Chulalongkorn University Stadium (near Sam Yan Market) are open
  • Monday-Friday from 06.00 – 20.00 hrs.
  • Weekends and public holidays from 06.00 – 18.00 hrs.

Since measures have been eased by allowing some personnel to return to work at the university, more pedestrian gates have been opened to facilitate travel to work as follows.

  1. The pedestrian gates at the Faculty of Arts (Henri Dunant Road) are open Monday-Friday from 06.00 – 18.00 hrs. (The gates are closed on weekends and public holidays).
