Chula Executives Welcome UNHCR Representative, EU Ambassador to Cambodia, and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar at “HPAIR Asia Conference 2024” 

On August 23, 2024, at the Chulalongkorn University Music Hall, Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, Acting President of Chulalongkorn University, along with Associate Professor Dr. Sukanya Sompiboon, Acting Vice President for Student Affairs, extended a warm welcome to Ms. Tammi Sharpe, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Representative in Thailand, and H.E. Mr. Igor Driesmans, the European Union Ambassador to Cambodia and EU Special Envoy for Myanmar.  

Their visit to Chulalongkorn University was a part of the “HPAIR Asia Conference 2024,” an international academic conference co-organized by Chulalongkorn University and Harvard University, held from August 21-25, 2024, at Chulalongkorn University. The presence of such distinguished guests underscores the conference’s significance and its role in fostering global dialogue.
