The Graduate School of Chulalongkorn University and KASIKORNBANK have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic collaboration, connecting two e-learning platforms: SKILLKAMP and Chula Lifelong Learning (Chula X). This partnership aims to enhance learning potential and provide seamless access to over 1,000 quality courses across both platforms, covering both academic knowledge and digital skills to support upskilling and reskilling for learners of all ages.
The MOU signing ceremony was held on August 27, 2025, at Meeting Room 1302, 13th Floor, Chaloem Rajakumari 60 Building, Chulalongkorn University.
This collaboration is expected to help develop skills and cultivate more capable individuals to contribute to the continued growth of Thailand’s economy. Full-scale learning services are set to be launched in 2026.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thiti Bovornratanaraks, Dean of the Graduate School, stated that the key mission of Chulalongkorn University is to develop a lifelong learning ecosystem through its platform Chula Lifelong Learning (Chula X). This initiative aims to promote diverse and high-quality lifelong learning for Thais of all ages, offering everyone the opportunity to learn and develop essential life and career skills anytime, anywhere.
This system plays a crucial role in implementing the university’s strategy to promote lifelong learning in Thai society, ensuring individuals can build competencies and skills to keep pace with the rapid changes of the 21st century.
The Chula X platform is a digital learning hub integrating knowledge across disciplines, covering technology, digital literacy, artificial intelligence, management, marketing, languages, health, the arts, and personal development. Learning is offered in both online and on-site formats, with credit accumulation and transfer systems in place for formal degree programs.
“Chula X not only provides continuous learning opportunities but also plays a key role in developing future leaders equipped with lifelong learning skills,” said Dr. Thiti. “This supports Chulalongkorn University’s ‘Impactful Growth’ strategy, which aims to drive holistic growth and contribute meaningfully to society. This partnership with KASIKORNBANK reflects both organizations’ commitment to building a strong learning society and promoting sustainable development in Thailand’s digital era.”
Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, Executive Vice President of KASIKORNBANK, shared that:
“In the face of rapid technological and AI advancements across industries, Thailand’s labor market urgently requires more digitally skilled professionals. In the next 2–3 years, it is projected that over 20,000 digitally skilled positions will be needed. Meanwhile, the demand for specialized skills continues to grow.”
To address this, KASIKORNBANK has developed SKILLKAMP, a platform focused on digital skill development, offering top online courses, skill assessments, and job placement opportunities with leading organizations.
Through this MOU with Chulalongkorn University’s Graduate School, the two parties will explore ways to connect SKILLKAMP with Chula X, enabling seamless access to over 1,000 quality courses across both platforms. This initiative supports academic and digital skill development for all age groups, enhancing education for students and the general public, encouraging lifelong learning, reducing educational disparities, and boosting Thai workforce potential in the job market.
Learners will be able to access content from both platforms without needing to register again, greatly improving convenience and accessibility.
“This partnership marks a major milestone in personal learning and development,” Dr. Karin concluded. “Connecting these two platforms will significantly broaden access to education, paving the way for a more skilled workforce aligned with market needs and a sustainable learning ecosystem for Thailand’s future.”
The full-scale service is scheduled to launch in 2026. For more information, visit www.skillkamp.com or contact LINE OA: @skillkamp.
