This competition focused on architectural design for a multi-purpose pavilion, envisioned as a space where diverse groups of people can interact. The contest challenged conventional architectural norms by allowing young designers to freely define the functionality of the space themselves.

The final round of the competition took place on September 27, 2025, at SCBX NEXT STAGE, Siam Paragon, where 20 finalist teams presented their work to a panel of judges. Mr. Chawin’s highly creative design, which won the top prize, will be constructed in a real public space.

Additionally, the project “Bangkok Bounding Box”, created by Ms. Natthapatsorn Jungmanakit from Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School, Mr. Thawin Tangjai from Saint Gabriel’s College, and Mr. Mahasamut Panjapapawin from Suankularb Wittayalai School, received a special award.

As for the runners-up:

  • First runner-up: “ANCHORED AIR”, by Mr. Chayanayut Chinnasot from the Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University
  • Second runner-up: “Good Morning”, by Ms. Patchthamon Boonyoo, Ms. Waranthorn Prawnet, and Ms. Nattapat Rattanapitakkul from Saint Joseph Convent School
