Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, representing His Majesty the King, confers degrees upon graduates of Chulalongkorn University for the 2024 academic year on the second day of the ceremony 

On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, at the Chulalongkorn University Auditorium, His Majesty the King graciously designated Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn (Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, The Princess Royal) to represent His Majesty in presiding over the second day of the degree conferral ceremony for graduates of Chulalongkorn University for the 2024 academic year. 

Present to receive Her Royal Highness were: 

• Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council 
• Prof. Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University 

A total of 2,615 graduates received their degrees during the morning and afternoon sessions. 

Morning Session: 1,237 graduates from the following faculties: 

• Faculty of Law: 473 
• Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences: 204 
• College of Public Health Sciences: 52 
• Petroleum and Petrochemical College: 26 
• College of Population Studies: 13 
• Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy: 469 

Afternoon Session: 1,368 graduates from the following faculties: 

• Faculty of Engineering: 846 
• Faculty of Allied Health Sciences: 236 
• School of Integrated Innovation Institute: 75 
• Faculty of Science: 211 

After the degree conferral ceremony, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn delivered a speech to the graduates. Following this, Her Royal Highness proceeded to the reception room in the auditorium, where a group photo was taken with the university’s executive team. 

Additionally, after the ceremony, Chulalongkorn graduates participated in a ceremony to pay tribute to King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) and King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) at the University Auditorium.
