Indofest 2024: A Vibrant Celebration of Indonesian Performing Arts at Chulalongkorn University 

The Office of Arts and Culture at Chulalongkorn University, in collaboration with Kansadaeng Watthanatham Co., Ltd. and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, organized the “7^th Indonesian Performing Arts Festival (Indofest 2024)” to mark the 75^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Indonesia.  The event took place on June 23-24, 2024, at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the Music Hall at the Arts and Culture Building, Chulalongkorn University. 

Indofest 2024 was a significant milestone in celebrating Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage and the longstanding diplomatic relationship between Thailand and Indonesia.  The festival was graced by H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Vitchatalum Laovanich, Acting Assistant to the President for Art and Culture Engagement, who delivered the opening speech. 

The performances at Indofest 2024 not only showcased the beauty of Indonesian performing arts, but also helped strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
